What are the common problems in the processing of stainless steel EP pipes?
The processing of stainless steel EP pipe is very important. If the technology is immature or there are defects, it may lead to waste steel pipes, and the level of secondary processing characteristics will decline. Therefore, the following are some common processing problems about stainless steel EP pipes.
1. The surface is inconsistent: only pickling and passivation is carried out on the welding, resulting in uneven surface and unsightly appearance.
2. Weld seam defects: Weld seam defects are relatively serious, and manual mechanical grinding is used, and the resulting grinding marks lead to uneven surface layers.
3. Scratches are difficult to remove: the overall pickling passivation cannot remove the scratches produced by processing, and it is also impossible to clean up impurities such as carbon steel and splashes adhered to the surface of stainless steel due to scratches and welding spatters, making them in corrosive media. In the presence of chemical corrosion or electrochemical reaction corrosion occurs.
4. Uneven passivation of grinding and polishing: Pickling and passivation treatment after manual grinding and polishing is difficult to achieve a uniform and consistent effect on large-area workpieces, and the cost of labor and auxiliary materials is relatively high.
5. The ability of pickling is limited: the pickling passivation paste is not complete, and it is difficult to remove plasma cutting, flame cutting and black oxide skin.
6. Scratches caused by human factors: In the process of lifting, transportation and structural processing, the scratches caused by human factors (knocking, dragging, hammering, etc.) important reason.
